This is a museum quality reproduction of a WWI Squdron Pin from the 147th Pursuit Squadron made in sterling silver. They reached the front at Toul on June 1, 1918 and ceased operations on 5 December 1918. The fought in 102 combat operations and had 312 victories with 7 killed and 1 missing.

The pin is 1 1/4 inches wide and has three sew on tabs that can also be used to push through fabric.  The squadron leader must have had a Scottie. This dog does not look like it could pursue much but rather lick them to death. While not an original here is a chance to get one of these unusual wings in sterling silver at a reasonable price.
