This is a museum quality reproduction of an extremely rare wing from WWI. A Portuguese Pilot wing made in sterling silver with a 24k Gold plate. The Portuguese in World War One had no aircraft but flew in British and French squadrons. I have not been able to find out how many pilots they had. But it could not have been many. This is a rather large wing at just over 3 1/2 inches wide, making it one of the larger ones ever made.
