The end of WWII resulted in Pilots with nothing to do, so they barnstormed, the Air Service cut back and slowly did research and raced for new records. |
On October 14, 1921 the Airship Pilot Badge was established and abolished on February 20, 1940. Only 150 men were awaraded this badge, yet 6 or 7 badge known designs exist. |
